The villa consists of 3 small private rooms each with its own private bath, as well as the main home which is by far, one of the most beautiful spots on the island. The walk in bathtub has been featured in many magazines and photo shoots for its sheer beauty. The famous South Padre Island beach is only minutes away, and the unbelievable island sunsets are a dream come true. Fireworks light the sky from Memorial Day to Labor Day for an extra special vacation.

The space
Our beautiful romantic/bridal suite is the perfect room to rent for any occasion. From it’s beautiful mermaid bathroom to the veranda with a view of the island’s Friday night fireworks (fireworks Summers only), this room is sure to make anyone feel pampered. The suite is equipped with a fridge, microwave and other small kitchen appliances and tableware, a cable TV, king size bed, seating area, desk and plenty of closet space. The mermaid bathroom is one of this room’s best attributes with it’s jacuzzi tub and beautiful decor. The Casa Mariposa Romantic Suite is located on the west side of the island, within walking distance of many great restaurants, shops, bars and recreational opportunities! Walk a few blocks east and you’re on the beach looking out into the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.

Bath towels are provided.
No on premises laundry, however Casa Mariposa is conveniently located right next door to the highest rated laundry mat on the island!
Your well-mannered pet is welcome, and we charge a pet cleaning fee of $50 per pet up to a maximum of two pets. This is in addition to your standard cleaning fee. Please let us know if you plan to bring your pet ahead of time, so we can adjust your cleaning fee. Your final cleaning fee will then include the standard and pet cleaning fee if applicable.
I spent a majority of my time photographing from the back porch. The owner and city have invited the birds by providing a perfect island home. The master villa was lovely and our friends enjoyed the guest villas. The beach and entertainment are walking distance. And the best view of the sunset is only steps away.
